Canada is truly a country like no other. It boasts extremely progressive laws, a competent government, breath-taking scenery, and some of the happiest people in the world.
It’s a fantastic place to visit at one point or another, with an almost endless amount to see and do for those that are adventurous at heart.
And while there’s no denying that Canada has some truly spectacular wilderness that would make any outdoorsman more than happy, many believe that it’s the cities dotted around the region that really make Canada a unique and special country.

Quebec City
Found in the mainly French areas of Canada, Quebec City comes across as both modern and old, with horse-drawn carriages and streets made from cobblestone.
The city itself looks over the famous Saint Lawrence River, and residents of the local suburbs almost all speak French, although it’s more than possible to get around the area with just English.
One of its most appealing attractions is Vieux-Quebic, which is at the core of the city and features a fortified building that’s home to restaurants, cafes, shops, and so much more.
It’s also a prime location of great art, and it may be especially worth the effort to see the city’s most prominent museum, the Musee national des beaux-arts de Quebec.
Vancouver
Vancouver is among the most well-known of Canada’s cities, set against large mountains to one side, and the Pacific Ocean to the other. Not far from Vancouver’s downtown area is Stanley Park, a region that’s like no other.
It also boasts some great beaches, which can be found in Kitsilano, as well as a series of great trails that make up the Pacific Spirit Park.
The climate is warm and sunny but still quite mild throughout most of the year – although visitors can still expect plenty of rain – there are few other metropolitan areas that enjoy the same outdoor activities, even while still technically being within the limits of the city itself.
It’s also home to plenty of great neighbourhoods, many of them suburbs with unique buildings styles and long, winding streets perfect for cyclists.
Toronto
This is the capital of the province of Ontario, but also the largest city within the country, and the one that sees the most visitors on a yearly basis.
It’s a city that houses almost three million people, and it’s a true hub of culture, food, shopping, sights, activities, and history, but it’s also a great place to park off and enjoy the surroundings or the latest online bingo sites.
Those visiting the city will want to take the time to see the famous Toronto landmarks, including the CN Tower, as well as Casa Loma, Toronto Island, and the Toronto Zoo. History and art loves will want to spend some time at the Art Gallery of Ontario, as well as the Royal Ontario Museum.
